surg protection / high output amps

hello all ...
I have recently purchased a pair of McIntosh MC611 mono block amps ... each draws 6.6 amperes ... any recommendations on how to protect them from power spikes etc to absolutely assure their protection  ?
my thanks in advance

You could consider a 15A product from a company like APC, Furman, SurgeX, Torus/Bryston. I'd recommend looking at SurgeX first.
If you own your own home, I suggest a whole house surge protector.
They are self sacrificial, and don't cost much, though you do need a licensed electrician to install it.
But it does give you peace of mind, as well as protecting all of your electrical equipment throughout the house.

If you can’t go whole house, I second a Furman product... particularly in the Elite realm... they have many options.
