Best isolation platform for a turntable with suspension?

Hey all,

I have an Avid Volvere turntable which has a spring suspension system. Sounds great!

But - my rack isn’t the best. Since Corona and inertia are making upgrading my rack impractical right now, I was thinking I could improve things by putting the Avid on an isolation platform.

My question: since the table already has suspension, what should I look for in an isolation platform? High-mass rigid platform like a Mapleshade? Mass + a different type of isolation like the Isoacoustics Delos? Low-mass but high-rigidity like a BDR shelf + BDR cones?

Help!

If you go mass-loading marble, no point in getting small pieces.

My base is 60inches by 18 deep and 5 high standing on 8 solid cones on a concrete slab floor.  The player stands on a stonework plinth on top of that.  Weight in all must be around 1000 pounds.  Standing on the stone slab makes the system effectively infinitely mass-loaded limited only to the mass of planet Earth.  The stylus/disc interface cannot be affected by any outside vibration or sound waves.  CD/SACD player, phono and pre-amps all stand on the slab.

Apollo based in the UK makes a nice turntable shelf, both single and double. The double provides an additional shelf below for a phono preamp or what have you...they are built using heavy duty welded steel with your choice of glass or wood for the shelf/shelves. My single is mounted to an outside wall in basement which is concrete covered in 2x4's & drywall. Zero vibrations and footfalls. They are not too expensive, look nice, and work well.
Mass loading a target vw1 turntable shelf with marble also works fine.
Occasionally can find used if necessary.  You asked for best so this may not be appropriate.
I used a wall mount many yrs ago just awful results. While playing music with bass just place your hands on the wall where your wall mount would be and "feel" the vibrations. Even if placed in studs did not help YMMV
