6x4 rectifier question

Is the 6x4 in something like a Lamm LL2.1 or LP2 going to affect the sound much if you roll in different NOS types?

I am using one in my Eastern Electric Avant preamp. It is a little pricey but worth it.

I did some research and I ended up with a Sylvania 6X4 green printing with the triangle logo. $15 and better sounding than the Mullards I had previously in my LL2.1 and LP2.
