Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1
tomic601

now I see it was a more of a way to get to the wine joke. good one.

I took it more seriously because I think everyone should own the ones I list. they sound so good, I want everyone I imagine out there to have one.

i.e. listened to Bad Company last night, I enjoyed it, decent recording, always love Paul Rodgers’ voice, but nothing superior about it, no reason to own an LP version of it while the ones I list are well worth having the LP version if it’s the reader’s type of enjoyment.

IOW, making space in collection, I’ll sell or give away Bad Company LP (keep the CD or stream favorite tracks), never part with Lee Konitz/Red Mitchell LP, enjoy every track..
Dang it has been quiet in here this week!
More life in the Streaming thread!
lol.

Troy, Ohio again this week and just come back from a trip to Omega Records in Dayton with a suitcase full of new to me records, well not quite full but you get the idea.....
Home tomorrow and give them all a US clean.
Picked up The Beatles White Album for $1.99.... not a Beatles fan but how could I say no.....
