something is not right here and it's on purpose!!!

lf you have the same source master on remastered digital and 1st press vinyl with the same volume, the digital sounds louder and more distorted with more intensity + is there anyway to remove that intensity from remastered digital because it sound like the audio has been run through a distortion pedal? How could legendary producers and mixers not hear this crap?

So, I take that as a yes, you’re still wadding up paper and sticking it in lamp sockets.
No details from anybody? I was hoping it could improve on my photos in the freezer tweak and provide some 5G shielding to boot.
The reason that people can't hear distortion is that there is NO real "standard hearing test." As a person who majored in experimental psych, I can state that the only real studies of hearing are by the government to determine their needs. Most people in the USA are not capable of even hearing "distortion," as you put it, as it isn't a STANDARD provable in the market place. It is a thing which certain people, (sound of me clearing my throat...) determined to become self proclaimed audio gods, claim that they alone can hear DESPITE THE EQUIPMENT THEY LOVE TO DOUBT's claim that there is lower distortion than they or any other human can hear. I am done with the "super human" claims that ONLY THEY can hear better than any record, recording or input method ever devised. Give me a break.

Huh? People most certainly can hear distortion, and that ability has nothing to do with standardized testing.

By the way, extensive hearing studies have been done throughout audio history, from early experiments at Bell Labs to those that have been part of developing the mp3 codec and other lossy audio formats.

You might want to get out of academia and into the real world.
