Higher End USB Cables
I gotta tell you I have now tried quite a few USB cables. The best I have heard for sound quality is the Wireworld Silver 7 Platinum. It uses pure silver wire. The sound is much more dynamic and full compared to other $$$ usb cables. Problem is they are hard to find used and they cost a lot. But... I am going to buy a Lumin X1 so I may have one to sell in the near future. ozzy |
This is the third time in two days, but I would be remiss if I didn't say anything. I took a chance on a USB from Supra Cables in Sweden. They make every kind of cable an audiophile would desire. You can find them on Ebay. I spent $50 for 1 meter. I had no idea of how much HF noise I had on my ferrite beaded USB! In fact I just bought a iFi iSilencer+ USB flash drive and the cable made a bigger improvement in noise suppression. It just is brimming with quantity and for only $50. This is the companies website, but they don't make any sales. They do explain exactly why their cables are so good. http://www.jenving.com/ |
Hello MB9061, I do not have a solution for your question, but a question myself. May I ask for your expertise and guidance? ow can I connect my music collection on a FLAC USB to my pre-amp listed here? My sound system is an early 80s ‘stack’ system. None of the components are digital: Bryston 2B solid state amp, Conrad-Johnson PV-11 pre-amp, MIT 330 interconnects, MusicWave phase-equalized speaker cables, California Audio Labs CD Alpha and Delta drive, Dual 1129 turntable. B&W 803 speakers. I would appreciate your suggestions and guidance on the matter.Thank you. |
