I guess so, Paul did say the volume control is tricky to make. He was proud of his even though it might pop at 34 or close to that. Who'd have thought a volume control would be hard to do. Live & learn.

I’m wondering about the volume control on my preamp. I have to run mine at at least 40 on the dial. At that level you can have a conversation. It takes to 25 to even hear it. Normal or not? Amp is 375 WPC.
