A plug for Levitator customer service

I have a Levitator, the small device that lifts the tonearm at the end of a record before it hits the label. When I bought it a couple years ago, I was having trouble finding the sweet spot for it on the turntable, and eventually put it aside.

A couple weeks ago I remembered it and tried again, but found I could no longer adjust the height. It was frozen.

I emailed the address on the website ( http://www.wiplastics.com/page05.html ) and the owner Tim got back to me within the hour and told me he would send me a new one, that he had redesigned the way they assemble the unit. No questions asked, no charge for postage, no return of the old one needed. Tim told me to keep it in case I wanted to re-use any of the parts.

It got here today and I will besetting it up this weekend.

I just thought that was great customer service and I wanted to give him a plug here.

That’s the way customer service should work. Glad the designer took control and made you a happy customer.
