“BLOCK” Function?

  I’ve tried a search here for such a function,and I’ve come up empty. Is there a way to block certain members? Not just from personal messages,but so they don’t show up in any topic I’m reading. Sometimes it’s nice to ask a question and learn something without someone trying to rub your nose in your lack of knowledge like a dog that did his business in the house.  I am all for learning from others. That’s one of the reasons I frequent this site. However,there are some folks here that do have vast knowledge, but are as abrasive as 40 grit sandpaper. For those folks I’m ready to throw the baby out with the bath water.

I know it might not help much but there actually is a facility to block members from your threads.
But it only exists for the Insiders and only if that thread is created to only be visible to Insiders.
Then you CAN block certain members from even participating.
In Theory.
I don't think anyone has actually tried it.

As a side note, a number of countries with abundant nudist beaches and similar culture taught Marxism in school. Those other ones were often called Puritans and were not much fun.

Many who are not good enough to assert themselves in real life do it
on social media.
They are not worthy of anyone's attention. They stick out like a sore thumb on any blog, no matter the subject. Just do as suggested, ignore them, bypass their posts and live a fuller life.
