$5k or less speakers (used or new)?

There is a KEF reference 205/2 on eBay right now for 3k. That sounds like a great deal to me! Think they were like 12k when new. 
Was actually just about to start a new thread asking if anyone has compared the new reference vs the the last gen? I had the 201/2 and they were very good. Very very detailed. 
Another option is Tekton. Don't worry Miller Carbon will post all about them any second! Lol
