GoldenEar Triton 1 vs. Triton 1R

On the basis of  recommendations and reviews, I’m most likely going to replace my Triton 1’s with 1 R’s.

Yes, I stand corrected. They did make the Triton 1 which has since been discontinued and replaced by the 1R. The 1R is vastly superior to the original Triton 1 in both performance and cosmetics.

I’m eagerly awaiting a trial pair of the Triton 1R speakers probably arriving tomorrow.  Hopefully they’ll be as superior to the Triton 1’s as everyone says.
I just hope they have the same wonderful characteristics, but are even better.
I’ll give my impressions once they arrive.

The dealer has been giving me the runaround in setting a day for the home demo.
I guess the audio business is doing so well they can treat their customers with disdain.
In any event, my current system has been sounding so wonderful lately, I don’t now feel the need for improvement anymore.
They can forget about my business.
