Blue Mitchell "The Thing To Do"

How are Mitchell’s albums in your opinion? I’ve been tempted to try one out. I only know him from playing on John Mayall’s Jazz Blues Fusion LP. Liked his playing on that, but have always wondered what his own recordings are like.

I guess I could try Tidal ;-) Always forget I have that resource.
Hank Mobley "Soul Station"

A classic with an incredible line-up.

@bkeske .. well, I'm a fan of Blue Mitchell but normally listen via Qobuz or my own rips. I love that recording in particular and had to have it on vinyl (Blue Note re-issue). As long as you have Tidal, why not give him a listen. Talented man.
taking your advice, the Blue Mitchell is on Tidal w three versions; regular, MQA and Rudy Van Gelder...after some careful level matching...IMO the RVG version is vastly superior...

thanks guys !!!!!!!
