now I know most of you dudes aren’t all that into piano jazz but I must tell you that if you want an aural treat for your ears and brain with some relatively accessible instrumental tunes you might check this out. He’s maybe not that cutting edge and I don’t think he ever “played with Miles” but the dude did play for Sinatra on many club gigs in New York. Sweet.

I’m a big Monty fan. Especially when he teams up with Ray Brown. The Triple Treat series is a really good stuff.
