Thanks for all your responses. I, honestly, did not expect them.
I believe that many, if not most, of the posters around here have at some point had a few systems. Be it a $100 000 one with a Bluetooth speaker as a secondary one, or any other combination. As Tekton has largely favorable reviews, it is not hard to imagine an audiophile with enough disposable cash to select Tekton for a decent, but pricewise less so, system in some adjacent room. That person could find out that Tekton is not exactly ten times worse than primary speakers, but is not up to the level of more expensive pair. I doubt a person would feel butt hurt at that time. More like "I got what I paid for and a little more than I expected". Now, if she/he voiced that opinion, I am afraid that on Audiogon she/he would be called some unpleasant and undeserved names.
Having said that, are there $30 000 speakers that are significantly, or even insignificantly, worse than $4500 Tektons? I am only aware of $1 000 000 Wilsons that millercarbon referenced elsewhere. It would be nice, and maybe useful to someone looking for new speakers, if such duds were identified.
