Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1
Lloyd / Williams - Vanished Gardens ( this has become a Desert Island disc for me.... )

I enjoy it, has very high sentimental value.. the Sonics are highly variable but work for me...

I get it, I have albums like that, but for whatever reason, expect more from something The Band was involved with, because the performances are there, but it could have been so much better.

Heck,  I enjoy the Basement Tapes, and it’s highly variable sonics, but ya know, that’s part of its charm, expected, and marketed thusly.
Laurie Anderson ‎– Big Science (Warner Bros. 1982)

Great album. Great recording.
