@spiritofradio

@bkeske Joni & Neil, you are into classical Brian.

Classical in all forms James ;-)

......actually bought a batch of ‘actual classical’ LP selections today. Oh, and a CD. Purcell and Britten selections by the Doric String Quartet on Chandos (2 CD set). Listened to it on TIDAL and had to have it.
@spiritofradio   Yes, it was Slaw that turned me on to Barrabas.  The description he sent was that the album is like a blend of Santana, funk, and something else, I forget exactly what that was.  I wanted to add that to my collection and sought it out on Discogs.  I found a NM/M- copy for around $12 or $15.  It turned out to be so good that I have played it probably a dozen times over the past 3 months.
I understand there are a number of Barrabas records and I am not sure if they are different bands or the same album title.  The one you want to get is 1975, has the cover art of a large, screaming face/head that is fairly orange in color and is a drawing, not an actual picture.  The background color is a light blue.
The music is great, the vinyl quality of my copy is very quiet, the dynamics are excellent.  A really great album.  Just checked Discogs and found 5 NM/M- available in U.S. ranging from $8, $10, $16 and one at $25.  Strongly recommend.
