Technics 1200G phono recommendations

I plan to purchase a Technics 1200G turntable. Need recommendations for a phono stage. Budget under under 3k, used ok. I do not want to exceed the quality of the turntable, if that makes sense. Would also appreciate recommendations on Ortofon cartridge to match the level of TT.
Will pair it with Mastersound 845 tube amp and Diapason adamantes III speakers.

How much difference  does a tube phono make? Is it safe to assume that SS phono will be just as good as tube phono? I'd like to have a totally analog system, including a tube phono, but not sure how much SS phono will take away from analog sound.

Tube phono if using MM. If using LOMC, you'll have SUT or FET in either SS or tube phono amp.
I'm going to offer this to you.

I'm looking for a CART to match my PHONO STAGE.

That is the question you want to ask. I'm going to ask the same question HERE and on another thread.  Soon Decware will assigns a SN to my ZPre, I'll be asking the same question, when that happens.

The tonearm is next, you need to have the information on what YOUR tonearm likes.. It's like small medium or large doesn't it? :-)

The last part is "what you have to spend"?  I try not to be unreasonable to MYSELF.  I'll argue both sides and "DON'T you dare spend that money" will shout at me.  If I don't spend the money right ONCE, I'll spend TWICE as much for sure. That will tick you off..

I usually save 50% by working from the TOP down, not the bottom UP.. Don't step up, step down... It's the "Baldwin Billiards" way. It works.. You will walk away happier because YOU stepped down, instead of NOT stepping up...  Money flows easier that way. :-)

So OP the formula from a mechanics perspective is ask the right questions and you'll get the right answers. Quality questions, deserve quality answers. So do you..
