LTA - Has Anyone Had First Hand Experiance?

I have the Janszen zA2.1 Valentina and the ZOTL40 with the MZ preamp is a perfect pairing. I have found no other combo that sounds as good and I’ve spent far more money on other gear.

Using a z10 mk II without a preamp. I’m coming from st-70 classic tube experience so yes at first I found the LTA sound a bit “cool “ though the details and soundstage hooked me. As I’ve worked on room acoustical treatments the so-called coolness has warmed up considerably. Yes my ear has also habituated. But my take away is that this amp is very revealing and that if it seems too chill it could well be other factors. After a dozen + upgrades I still haven’t tapped out this amp.
