Can you get proper imaging if speakers are not the same distance from center?

One speaker is 58” from center (listening position-sweet spot) and the other is 76”.
I have Tetra 606s that use an AMT tweeter. It gives a very open sound. Between the speakers there is a TV and the component rack.
With the AMT, there seems to be good imaging with the main elements of music centered, etc.
And two channel Home Theater seems to be ok.
Moving 150lb speakers with Stillpoints across wood floor is problematic but it could be accomplished. Is it necessary?
mglik
It can be pretty good but don't go spending thousands on cables looking to make it better. Setup is 70% the rest is the fancy stuff.
This may sound a bit forward but why on earth spikes? Maybe off the spikes and onto an EASIER way to move the speakers so YOU WILL.

Now think 500 lbs.. Mine are 390 lbs EA. before 110 lbs of additional weight. They better move. :-)

Decouple the speakers correctly first, THEN place them in and easier position and enjoy the NEW, BETTER, IMPROVED Sound..

I'm surprised MC didn't offer up springs,
I WILL.. BOING!!! Boing, boing!

Just saying OP.. :-)
