Very Interesting, particularly getting Michael to modify those amps into Class A mono blocks. I think that the Ymer itself is pure class A for the first 45w.
He also after leaving Threshold/Forte designed for Classe and Primare audio. These Thresholds are one of a kind. The balanced circuits were taken out and each amp has 20 bipolar transistors in parallel. They run hot and do suck up a lot of electricity. The clarity is incredible. Almost like taking a veil over the sound.
Only just come across the Ymer power amp another one for me to consider. Will be researching it further to compare with the 402 Evo amp which is on my list
