Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1
Maria McKee  - S/T
(Geffen Records 1989)

Decent music. This was the Diana Krall audiophile record of its day. I bought it. It isn't.
B. Sure you can mix makes. As it's phono, you've got to be a little careful of gain asymmetry but TBH, if it sounds better and awesome, who cares? On the pairs front: if you weren't enamored with the all 4 swap, you may be missing out on improvements with them in other positions.
B. You have got to get Telefunkens in there if you want to hear clean, transparent awesomeness. I would not do older Mullards in that amp.
