Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1
Now... a flattened L Williams tribute to Tom Petty "Runnin’ Down a Dream" lp 1

A newly readjusted VTA/VTF...how about that!
Steve, I bought the VTPH-2A. I'm strongly considering (which means it's only a matter of time) getting the VTSP-360 also.
Steppenwolf   'Monster'  I have had this for many years, pp

Carol King  'Tapestry'   Mobile Fidelity reissue.  Fantastic!

Jeff Beck   'Truth'  Originally I believe this was released in 1970.  I bought this in 1974 so must be a repress.

It never ceases to amaze me how much more depth and holographic the music becomes by around the third album.  I have a Manley Chinook Special Edition MkII (Upscale Audio, with Tungsram cryo-treated tubes).  Reading above, is the Herron really that much better?  Which model is it that you have big_greg?
Joel,

I had a local friend with VPI TNT jr/ET 2/Herron/Marantz amp/Audio Artisrty open baffle speakers......
Oh yeah, Lyra Delos.

Listened a LOT.

He had his system set up to be bright.

We listened to one another’s system at great length.

I bought my K&K Audio Trio after this.

The only reason the K&K phono stages aren’t in the current discussion is they are no longer made.

My Trio listed for $1k less than the Herron and SQ was at least it's equal.
