Thank you both. My first impression was a couple of horn speakers but hadn’t thought about wheels. The space is a cavern- super tall walls and three thousand square feet.
Barn speakers
We have a small farm with a large barn for weekend family get togethers. Trying to figure out how to pipe music around. Much of the time we are out around a fire. Options I am considering are indoor and outdoor speakers hung up high, not sure of a brand. Another consideration is a box speaker like Klipsch that can be moved in and out- kind of a hassle but workable. Listen to everything from Earl Klugh to AC/DC and everything between. Anyone have a similar setup that works well? Thank you in advance

Passive PA style speakers and the amps to push them are cheap and plentiful on the used market. Since the price of powered monitors has come down that’s the norm. Here is an example of four Bose 801’s powered by 200wpc Bose 1800 I was messing around with in the barn. Any CL search or local music stores will have loads of used cheap quality options. https://youtu.be/knBhVWpTI2o |
