+1 au_lait Teena Marie released 9 albums from 1979-90 all have strong musical and lyrical content. Which IMO gives Lady T the title of the queen of 1980’s R&B.

Great album. Have it on CD, but need the vinyl.

Everyone talks about Kinda Blue, but I really think that album competes with it.
Came in the mail earlier. Can’t take it, so taking a break from work to listen…
