I just scored a sweet pair of CS 2.4SE loudspeakers. Anyone else currently or previously owned this model?
Owners of the CS 2.4 or CS 2.7 are free to chime in as well. Thiel are excellent w/ both tubed or solid-state gear!

Thanks cascadesphil, Tom and @jafant for the help and advice. I've swapped the channels and found that the distortion persists on my left channel, hence I think we can confirm that the issue lies with the voice coil. Previously, I've contacted Rob for a set of outriggers for the CS2.7. I'll drop him an email soon to arrange for a rebuild or buying a new coaxial driver. Once again, I truly appreciate the help I'm getting here. You guys are amazing. |
