Can I Re-Terminate HDMI cable?

Hi, I have an old Harmonic Tech 6 meter HDMI cable custom made around 13 years ago. It was expensive and the best quality available at the time. I'd like to have three 6 meter cables made from it.

Can it be re-terminated ?

Is it worth it?

Any issues I should be aware of?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks onhwy61. I do have newer cables. This one was in the closet, so I though I'd see about it. Harmonic Tech used very high end designs, even then, so it does make me wonder if it's still useable. I sent them an email but haven't heard from them yet.
With specialty tooling.
Morrow doesn’t even bother with it.
"Worth it" is relative.

Have at it:.

Reterminating HDMI is done as follows:

1st you take time
2nd you take some more time
...
by midnight or into next morning you should have them reterminated.
Only if you avoid typical amateur mistakes.
In that case no time estimate is available.
Those DIY HDMI termination kits will degrade the signal because you are using screw clamp based terminations.  Also, you won't have as good of "strain relief" on the cable itself.  My opinion is that it's not worth it.  Just spend another $100-200 on a good new/used HDMI cable.
