They sound different so it really depends on what sound you will like better. I know the Bryston 7B3 will have no problem driving a pair of Magnepan 3.7 speakers. I believe the Pass Labs X260.8 should have no problem either.

With these speakers, that have a 3 octave spread below 4ohms (that goes down to 2ohm) in the lower mids upper bass. https://ibb.co/MM6HF3C I’d have a tendency to go with the Bi-Polar output Brystons, as they will most likely be able to do better current delivery into that loading than the Mosfet output Pass can. (And I always hear that slight "mosfet mist" sound some talk about) Cheers George |
