Peter Lederman in Second Bout With COVID-19

I saw on Facebook late last night that Mike Fremer told one of his Audio Friends that he heard from Peter Lederman of Soundsmith that he is suffering his second round with COVID.  Peter said he has blood clots on his lungs. That is all the post said.  Here is hoping that Peter pulls through with a full recovery.

@ghasley  you bring up a good point about people in America being mobile. I understand the logic. Also, the United States ranks third amongst most visited countries in the world.

However your stereotypical assumptions on the characteristics of a certain type of voter are extraordinarily narrow-minded and ignorant. Typical of your side of the aisle.
Speaking of deaths numbers without having the real numbers (no one have it save few specialists able to interpret them )and negating the virus working is to say the least a political stupid stance...

The real problem is the politisation of a real disease...Politic in america from any side is a clowns theater...Go out from TV and awake yourself...

I am amazed by stupidity....

 i mute myself....

Going back to music....

@mahgister  if you read my original post, it was the gross over reaction that I was unhappy with. I never said it wasn't a real disease.
Also, I do not watch tv nor get my news from it.
Please get your facts straight before you feel the need to try to insult me.
@herman  sorry, I didn't read your post until just now.
I thought I was pretty clear in my previous posts.

On average, the flu kills between 300 and 500,000 people worldwide every year.
Covid deaths worldwide is 3 million.

Again, I'm not minimizing any loss of life I'm just going by the numbers and some common sense. Humans stopped the Earth from spinning for something that has killed 3 million people when the flu kills between 300 and 500,000 people every single year..

Worldwide cardiovascular disease deaths every year...18 million.
Worldwide obesity deaths every year...2 million.
Worldwide tobacco deaths every year...7 million.
Wow have I lost respect for some audiogonners. While they may have knowledge to impart as far as audio I now don’t even respect their opinions enough to read their posts again.
As a strain gauge owner, I’m glad Peter is doing better (I had a chance to speak with him last month) but I’m pretty shocked that people even bother to post here their off topic theories.  I guess it shows sometime a little bit of information can be a dangerous thing.
