Spiritofradio,
Just bought a "Black Mifi" album on Discogs (thanks for the recommendation) along with a couple Bardo Ponds I didn't have.

Bardo Pond / Ellipse
Listened to Paul Simon's "Graceland" on Amazon Music in "Ultra HD". It's a great album and it sounded nice, but the varied instruments and even Paul's voice lacked the live presence that I recalled.
Put the 1st pressing of the same album that I bought in 1986 on the turntable and was blown away by the difference. Had to listen to the entire album again, savoring every note.
Elvis Costello & The Attractions / Armed Forces

“The complete Armed Forces story curated by Elvis Costello includes….9 pieces of vinyl (3 LPs, 3 10 inch LPs and 3 7 inch singles)…

And some pretty cool ephemera.
Just finished enjoying the main course, the rest will be fun.

Suddenly, it’s my senior year in high school again.

(What’s so funny ‘bout) peace, love and understanding?
@mwinkc   I think that you will find just as great of a sound quality difference when comparing your original copy of Graceland to the remastered/reissue 25th Anniversary Edition.  If you really like that album (I certainly do) and choose to make that purchase you will be greatly rewarded.  It's one of my go-to albums for high fidelity demonstration on my system.  Enjoy!
