Thanks Steve.  I see the EMI meters/testers for around $130 for a new one.  I'll look to find a good condition used one and go from there.  I think it would be fun to check the line when I feel the music is sounding better.  As well, to check the line when I feel the music is not at its best.  Another tool to add for the system and the hobby (the passion).
