Two new LP’s arrived….so taking a break from classical for a bit. I rarely mix genres, but here goes…

Leo Kottke - S/T. Chrysalis 1976

Ive heard other here who have this, and I haven’t, so that’s ‘fixed’. I do believe with this, my Leo collection is now complete from the 60’s thru the 70’s.

BTW, the Steve Gunn lp is highly recommended!!!

Monty Alexander, Ray Brown, and Herb Ellis - Triple Treat (I). Concord 1982. This was the first of the ‘Triple Treat’ releases by the three.

This is kinda cool, as it was signed by Herb Ellis.

Entertaining and nice to note that the audience chatted through performances like they do today! Recording is fine but nowhere like the clarity of a good late 50s/60s recording. Must be using transistors.
