Not quite 'all'. It lacks balanced inputs
Another GaN smaller integrated, Technics SU-G30 has everything bar the kitchen sink.
This smaller SU-G30 integrated version of the SU-R1000 I started last week has it all, it's the complete network audio integrated amp. Nowhere near the power of the SU-R1000, but all the goodies, for $4k looks great for units and offices or smaller hifi systems.

I actually have this model and have been using it as my main source of amplification while waiting for a new amplifier to arrive (one of my JC-1s broke). I think it is quite a good value used (about $2K) since you can just plug in a digital source and don't need an external dac. There is one huge caveat IMHO with Technics implementation of this technology in my experience with the SU-G30. The analog input is digitized, and that conversion adds a significant digital flavor to the sound coming out of the speakers compared to a pure analog setup (in my case BHK pre and JC-1 amps). |
80s_foreverHow does the network side of things sound as it being a basically digital tuner as well, (DAB+ sound) like we have in Au? Also if you've done what's the sound like with a higher end dac feeding it? Cheers George |
