Rogers High Fidelity Integrated amplifiers

Beautiful amps and I've read some very positive reviews. Would love to hear one sometime.

I read the rave reviews of Rogers High Fidelity. I stumbled in The Stereo Exchange in NYC. I saw my amp, EHF200mk2 on display. Me wife thought it was beautiful. I asked for a demo. The amp was hooked up to DeVore Silverback Reference speakers. Immediately I was taken by the sound. The Rogers really took control of the speakers. Deep bass and beautiful highs and everything in between . My wife said why don’t you buy them. I said no but locked that sound into my head. Fas forward a few years, I finally purchased my dream speakers. Nola Metro Gold3. They we not cheap. I ran them with a Cary amp. That Rogers amp still had my attention. They offer an in-house audition. They never went back. I’m still amazed by the amp every time I listen to it. Yesterday I had the head guy from my hi-end audio shop in to fix my turntable. He was in awe with my system. First thing he said… oh my god listen to that bass. Nola and Rogers pair up very nicely.

A few of the brands you mentioned are made wholly overseas and I’m sorry but their build and quality do not rank with Rogers High Fidelity.

I’ve owned my original model EHF-100 for a long time and it beats out alot of other comparable tube integrateds out there. They are worth every penny.

I finally had a chance to listen to Rogers High Fidelity 65-v2 at a friend’s place last night. To say that I was impressed would be an understatement. I can’t believe how good this amp sounds -- details galore, powerful but still keeps the nuances that is the province of EL34 tubes. I was amazed by the holographic image this amp projects. We listened in both triode and ultralinear modes ... both are excellent in their own way.

I’m going to bring it over to my house over the weekend and see how it performs in my main system (Harbeth SHL5+, AH Qualiton a50i). I’ll share more impressions next week, but I must say the ’purity’ of the sound that I heard today was something else. I’ve heard other amps at his house (he goes through gear like socks), but both of us were impressed by how well this amp performed. And believe me, this guy has some uber expensive tube gear (ARC, VAC, Conrad Johnson, McIntosh).
