Tube Line Stage around $5k

PRIMA LUNA EVO400. PREAMPLIFIER   Made the cover of TAS as the top performing tube preamp.

This product exudes quality from every standpoint. Unless you want to spend many multiples of $K, You are not going to find a finer sounding preamp on todays market. I have no reservations pertaing to this preamp.

In that price range the best you could get is Modwright LS 36.5.

Thanks but nothing against PL, in fact I auditioned my speakers on a PL amp, but I am only interested in Made in USA.    

In that case your myopia prevents you from looking at Nagra, Wavac, Kondo and Audionote

A little over budget .... but superb at the price
