Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

@spiritofradio I agree that overall they are quiet, it's the occasional static noise I hear, like a quiet 1 second frying pan 'sizzle'. Only on new stuff, not on all of it. My cartridge has a Namiki microridge line contact stylus with under 300 logged hours. I clean every new record before play, and multiple treatments don't help. I'm wondering if it's the same noise @big_greg hears on the HM LP?

Steve, my wife informed me I can exchange Amazon purchases at the local Kohls which will keep me in the game. Thankfully!

@spiritofradio James, I may try buying from another vendor. Plaid Room may have got a bad batch. They are great about returns and exchanges. I prefer to buy from smaller retailers and avoid Amazon. I may just stick to streaming it. It was recorded digitally.

Bill, I avoid Kohl’s for Amazon returns and

use UPS store. I get refunds /returns processed

within the hour.

Steve, good to know! Thanks for that, I drive past UPS to get to Kohls...
