The New Synergistic Research Purple Fuses

Well it finally happened with the SR purple fuses in my system. A week ago I bought another tube amp. The amp uses a different size fuse. So of course I'll have to buy another purple fuse. But what a upgrade to the amp for $200. 

I've seen input here re: the directionality of fuses and the need for burn in.

Question: If I install a fuse in the wrong direction will it eventually "burn" into the desired directionality?

No

Exactly. It won't hurt the fuse if you install it wrong.  The direction is only for slow blow fuses. Fast blow fuses don't have direction. 

Fast blow fuses don't have direction. 
 

All fuses exhibit audible directionality. Fast or Slow blow matters not.
