What combo would you choose and why

Hey Agoners,

I have the following equipment:

Simaudio i3

Schiit Saga+

Icepower 125ASX amp

Audioengine B2 BT receiver

Odyssey Lorelei floorstanders w/kismet upgrades

Revel M20 engineering standard standmounters

Audio Nirvana alnico 8" full rangers running in free air, i.e.no cab and no baffle

Two Martin Logan Abyss subwoofers

All connections are OCC

I listen to Gardot, Krall, Peyroux and various acoustic guitarists

Room is 14x20 with carpets and lovesacs all over the place

Given all that, what would be your best combo of components to use?

I listen to an average 60db volume.

Thanks all

TM

Thus hobby is a journey and no finite destination . It requires a roll-up your sleeves and rolling out the experimentation quotient. This is entirely up to you to choose and it is impossible for any outsider to randomly recommend with ANY meaningful guidance.

in brief: a trifecta of why:

(1) every component listed ( …all of source, electronics, speakers, cables … ) has its own bespoke sonic signature and warts, that may or may not marry up well with the rest of the chain to provide a preferred system synergy. It’s physical hands-on to see whazzup.

(2) Your bespoke room acoustics and its dimensions are big contributors to influencing ( pro or con)  the audio performance .

(3) Your own preferred music genres will dictate what stirs your drink.

this is an alchemy based on your  research, experimentation, and a distillation of contenders from the pretenders …full stop.

Thank you for answering with a non-answer. And thank you for telling me what I should do, when I asked, with genuine curiosity, what you would do.

Why do you assume I haven't rolled up my sleeves in the "experimentation quotient"? That's why I asked the question: I've tried many different combos and am curious what others would do. It's called having fun, and I highly recommend it.

Cheers!

I'd run the Sim I3 into the Loreleis (great, under-appreciated speakers!) and try the subs w/them too.

I'd stack two lovesacs, because from the little I've seen about them, I'd working on the assumption that your ears would be pretty low relative to the tweeters sitting on one. If that's not the case, please ignore that suggestion.

Are we still having fun? Or you planning to jump on my case too? Cheers,

Spencer
