take the MSRP when new, deduct 20% and then deduct another 40% from that figure. You now have 'fair market value, assuming the units are less then ten years old. Ignore Blue Book.

Buconero117 is saying 48% of MSRP (with the caveat that it only applies to speakers less than 10 years old). Although the Dynaudios in question were released in 2000, his ballpark estimate is right on Bluebook for 2 models and WAY off on the 3rd. I'll let the original poster subscribe and figure out which is which.

you can always adjust the price if no bites

roughly half price is common for items that are 5 - 10 years old in my experience
