For me its the first or very early LP's of: Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South" Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer" and, Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
You inspired me to pull out my Trick of the Tail LP. Dare I say it sounds better than the CD?
Dang that is a great album. In retrospect, I can't ever recall my parents asking me to "turn it down." Remarkable. As I recall it sounded pretty darn good on my Altec Santana II's. I'm smiling as I type.
