TTW Audio (TTWeights)

Personally, I do not like the owner of TTW.  I posted a very positive review here on one of his record weights, and he started using the review,  without my permission, to promote his business. When I called him out on it, he pretty much told me to F off. He will never get anymore of my business. 

Bought one of TTW tables many yrs ago thru my dealer. Had many issues that dealer tried his best to help resolve but dealer had much difficulty with TTW. Turntable sits in boxes.

I remember when TTW left the industry and posted his scorched earth postings all over the internet slamming both the audio industry and calling audiophiles both gullible and stupid.

Good luck building back all the burnt bridges.

I vaguely remember the "clumsy" exit posting, now that you mention it. Not a good strategy, and not a good portent to future business behavior.

This complaint, I don’t get. When I post an unsolicited positive review in a public forum, I would be happy for the maker to take and use it if they like. Sure it’s better if they contact me first, but really what’s the big deal? A pure, unsolicited and uncompensated endorsement is more of what we need in this hobby.

Personally, my past interest in TTW was all about the various ring clamp configurations - some of them quite eye catching! It’s hard for me to get excited about a "configurable" center weight, which seems to be the product they’re introducing here.

I guess you and I disagree on this.  Don’t care, won’t ever do business with him again. 

@stereo5 ………no, we are on the same page.  I will not be dealing with TTW now or in the near future.
