@seekerbob Yes, the consensus this thread is very worthwhile. A layer of murk has been removed and my reference is a fine German pressing.

@seekerbob  If you have an early pressing and a CD copy then you are obviously a fan of the album.  Don't let this one get away from you.  Definitely more depth and transparency than most reissues.  And really great bass that comes through very well.  

Santana III - 1970/2010 Music On Vinyl Remaster

Great detail and deep bass but definitely not a warm analog pressing.

With that said it is a great great Santana album.
