Ian McDonald of King Crimson and Foreigner dies at 75 RIP


RIP Ian.

I will be listening to my entire King Crimson collection tonight.

For me it was the first King Crimson album; the one thing that immediately struck me besides how great it all sounded was the intricacy and power of the drumming. Almost always among the most important positions in a prog-rock band is the drummer, I think. Bill Bruford indeed, and of course the brilliant Phil Collins among them.
