Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

@slaw.. these are concrete reasons to me. I don't get it but I'm not built that way simply to communicate what my preferences are or what I'm doing at the moment to consider anything like that as "friendship".  I never joined FaceBook either and if I'm analyzing, its to understand the phenomena.

At least you put sane reasoning to it w/o being "flummoxed."

Now that I know, I may contribute to what I think are good recordings otherwise its plain I don't belong here.

My dogma seems to be too easily offensive.

@arro222 - This is a great thread (IMHO) and I’ve enjoyed it immensely for year now. I believe it is the most popular thread on AudiogoN, currently at 43K+ posts. I’ve become virtual friend with some of the regulars on this thread, and I enjoy the "community". I (we) welcome you, if you choose to participate.

The concept of this thread is simple - "What’s on Your Turntable Tonight?" That question has obviously resonated with many AudiogoN members. Some folks simply reply with what they have on their TT at the time. However, often posters discuss the merits of the recording they are playing. Often you will see responses regarding other's choices, and sometimes you’ll see folks jumping on a particular bandwagon - artist, album, genre or otherwise.

It’s all in good fun, not serious, and open to all. There are lots of regulars here, some newbies and an occasional driveby. You are most welcome the join, as a regular or as an occasional poster. We value your input, especially if it is regarding vinyl you are playing.

Peace Out! Enjoy the Music! And, "What’s on Your Turntable Tonight?"

Doc Evans / Knocky Parker / Albert Nicholas / Earl Murphy / Gene Juckem – Reminiscing In Dixieland, Stomps And Blues Vol. 1 (Audiophile 1957)

Translucent red vinyl from 1957 is gorgeous and sounds great.
