Effects of DC charging cable’s insulation a la Audioquest?


Has anyone experienced what turning off and on the voltage applied to cable’s insulation, the way Audioquest does it with their 72volt system?

Does any other cable manufacturer do that it is it patented? Just curious why more options don’t exist for this type of technology?

yes, DBS is a patent shared by Bill Low of Audioquest and Richard Vandersteen of Vandersteen Audio. RV certainly believes in it as many of his speaker crossover filters use a battery to keep the capacitors formed. Additionally, his amplifiers ( M5 and M7 ) include….wait for it… 128 V DBS systems for both the interconnects as well as speaker wire. There are also certain savvy electronics makers of DAC and preamp, who use the technology internally……
