Update-Started posting here on 4/14/20 with the (brilliant?) idea of playing my entire vinyl collection. This idea emerged from the myth that Audiophiles play the same 100 or so albums yet have vinyl collections in the thousands. This thread proves to some extent that's a fallacy. Since I started posting on this thread I have added about 250 vinyl albums bringing my total collection around 1800. From my estimated calculations I have played 1250 album sides with only about a 5% repeat rate. My Audiophile SQ recordings are >25% which is mainly due to Jazz/Vocals and Classical, no where near my desired 40%. Tonight I will start on my next 600! |
