Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

Neil Young with Crazy Horse / Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere
1969 Reprise
Went with headphones on this one, too cool!

David Crosby / If I Could Only Remember My Name
2021 Atlantic 40th Anniversary Re-issue, orig. 1971

Roger McGuinn-Peace On You Side 1

Genesis-Abacab Side 2

Dave Brubeck-Blue Rondo(CJ-317) Side 1 SQ Audiophile

The Staples-Pass It On Side 2

Climax Blues Band-Real To Reel Side 1

Karrin Allyson-Footprints(#1073) Side C SQ Audiophile

My playlist is from last night. Started a little late so only spun 6 albums. Karrin Allyson-Footprints was excellent in SQ and content. One of a few albums that I have paid at least $100 for. Yet another Concord Jazz recording with Audiophile SQ. "Peace On You" was better then expected, sure made it obvious where Tom Petty was influenced.

@bkeske Good to hear the 5814A worked. As I mentioned, I find the CV400x to be a bit too warm so these are going to seem like a breath of fresh air!

It’s interesting as I never considered replacing the Brimar’s after installing them, as they are quite popular and were highly recommended. So, I somewhat ignored the au7’s and concentrated on the ax7’s instead. This was a nice change, but now wonder what an Amperex, Mullard, or Telefunken, etc. might bring to the table. But, for the time being, I’ll enjoy these. Seem like a bargain to me.
