I like Bach. Have a lot of music on CD by him. But I must confess, I never think about God while listening to his music. From the wrong church I guess. I only think of God when listening to Messiah.

That is normal for those who don’t have German . Every piece he wrote had written said " Glory to God" or the like, No German how would you know ? Nearly all that that that was sung was about Jesus . One piece that the above was written by Matin Luther, got to me .!
You can buy English paper on almost all Bach . Handel is great, Bach is the Ultimate . Cheers
