$25k speakers, are we there yet?

ASR members walk away. For the rest of us.

These big expensive speakers really do need the stars to align for us to ever reach their potential so when my last speakers didn't do well with the source I had instead of upgrading the source I swapped speakers. What do you need to hear/see/know about your speakers to take the next step and build a 20 year system around them?

First, treat your room.  It will get you off your speaker/cable swap merry go round quickly.

Hmm. Stock KTM exhaust or aftermarket with a tune / ECU remap?

Imo your sourse if the most important since everything starts and starts there.

for example buy the Excellent Denafrips Terminator plus it is superb on. Most any level ,just give it a very good power cord and clean power ,your system will sound as real and natural  by far then the vast majority out there and a bargain at that .

i have heard this dac against dacs at 2-3x the price for $6350 ,

the closest to this ,the HoloSprings May KTE dac  which is not far behind .

First thing you should do is isolate your speakers from the vibration of the Earth and the other speaker which will also isolate all your electronics, the best product to do that is called the Townshend podiums, they're not cheap but unbelievable how well they work it's like changing all your electronics it was that much better check them out read the reviews.
