Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

Beth Hart  -  Bang Bang Boom Boom   White vinyl reissue, limited to 500 copies.  With all that hype I figured it would be great SQ.  Well, just so-so.  But the music is great!  Love Beth Hart.

Alan Parsons Project  -  Eye In The Sky   Mobile Fidelity issue, just released.  I always like this album very much.  But I can't find my copy.  So, I bought this reissue from MoFi.  WOW, they really did an excellent job on this one.  Exceptionally quiet vinyl, killer sonics.

Hey Joel,

I have the op of that Beth Hart lp and it sounds great from memory.

Her Albert Hall set is great!

So far my impressions are positive on my new to me phono stage. I feel comparing resistors in the MC , will be critical. Then I’ll focus on a passive volume.

There’s a beauty now in the presentation that wasn’t there before. Although the SS could have more bloom😕 Lot’s of options going forward .

There’s much more of a difference in album to album SQ now.

A blessing and a curse

Another interesting fact, my Trio uses 3/6922

The Audia Flight is SS. Bass is incredible.
