Quality is one thing but China is not exactly a friendly country, remember ?

Companies are like prostitutes, this doesn't mean we should be that too. Especially if we can avoid it.

I would agree with @inna China is not our friend well as a country. There are many in DC that cozy up to the one with the big wallets, right Big Guy.

However, completely avoiding Chinese parts in audiophile equipment is very very difficult. Accuphase, Gryphon, Nottingham come to mind.  Maybe Lamm, D'Agostino and Boulder, I don't know.

But if we insist and are prepared to pay more things will change.

Complicated subject, yeah. Anyone ready to buy iPhone Pro Max for $4k or so ? It's already $1.5k.

You say Hunter made maybe a million from China? I've yet to see any proof on that one. Jared & Ivanka, however, made up to $640 Million while "working" in the White House and Jared got that $2 Billion loan for supplying MBS (you know, BoneSaw) with high level intel from his security clearance allowing MBS to overthrow his family, imprison most, torture and kill a few and become king over his brother, who was next in line. It's why his high level security clearance was revoked. 

As for supporting Communist China,
In October, China’s Trademark Office granted provisional approval for 16 trademarks to Ivanka Trump Marks LLC, bringing to 34 the total number of marks China has greenlighted this year, according to the office’s online database. The new approvals cover Ivanka-branded fashion gear including sunglasses, handbags, shoes and jewelry, as well as beauty services and voting machines.

Both the president and his daughter have substantial intellectual property holdings in China. Critics worry that China, where the courts and bureaucracy are designed to reflect the will of the ruling Communist Party, could exploit those valuable rights for political leverage.

Gee, I wonder what was done when they were in office? And people here worry about a speaker.
